On the 24 th of February 2022, Russia began its special military operation into Ukraine. The date of release of this report marks the second anniversary of the Ukraine conflict. From an international viewpoint, Moscow didn’t want Ukraine to get amalgamated into the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), the cornerstone of western security.
